This website is designed to provide information dating from the early 1600's to the present. Based on American Revolutionary Records there were Jowers who came to fight for the British and chose to stay in the Americas. As the normal migration occurred  the Jowers migrated from Anson County, NC to Barnwell County, SC and the on to Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. The migration of the Jowers clan to Henderson County, TN has resulted in the largest number of descendants in the US. Clicking on the various links will allow you to view the pictures, land grants and records amassed over a 40 year period.
